RESOLUTION NO. 2006-302
RESOLUTION ACKNOWLEDGING CONTRIBUTIONS OF
JON ECCLES, STREET MAINTENANCE WORKER
May 21, 1979 TO JUNE 16, 2006
WHEREAS, Jon Eccles began employment with the City of Plymouth on May 21, 1979;
and
WHEREAS, Jon worked in the City's Street Maintenance Division; and
WHEREAS, Jon was a committed employee with great leadership abilities; and
WHEREAS, Jon was considered by his coworkers to be a leader and mentor; and
WHEREAS, Jon, a Plymouth resident, was a devoted husband and father and had a long-
time love of motorcycles and touring; and
WHEREAS, Jon's life ended as a result of injuries suffered in a tragic motorcycle accident;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the City Council of the City of Plymouth
acknowledges the contribution of Jon Eccles, Street Maintenance Worker, May 21, 1979 to
June 16, 2006.
Adopted by the City Council on July 25, 2006.
