RESOLUTION NO. 2006-288
AWARD CONTRACT
CITY CENTER ENTRANCE SIGN PROJECT
CITY PROJECT NO. 5120
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the City Center Entrance Sign
Project, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following
bids were received complying with the advertisement:

Environmental Associates, Inc.
$109,192
Jay Bros.
$114,560
WHEREAS, it appears that Environmental Associates, Inc., Willmar, MN is the lowest
responsible bidder, complying with the minimum specifications;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the appropriate City Officials are
hereby authorized and directed to enter into the contract for the bid with Environmental
Associates, Inc. of Willmar, MN in the name of the City of Plymouth for the City Center
Entrance Sign Project according to the plans and specifications therefore approved by the
City Council and on file in the office of the City Engineer in the amount of $109,192.
FURTHERMORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, that the fiinding for this project shall
be from the Project Administration Fund with an additional $49,990 from the Capital
Improvement Fund to fiind both the remainder of the project bid and the project
contingency.
