HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2006-264CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION 2006-264 APPROVING A PRELIMINARY LAND USE PLAN FOR THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH FOR THE AREA KNOWN AS NORTHWEST PLYMOUTH (2005050) WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth initiated an update to its Comprehensive Plan in Fall 2005, focusing first on the northwest part of the City; and WHEREAS, the preliminary land use plan will be used to develop plans for utilities, streets and parks; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed a preliminary land use plan at a duly called public meeting; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the preliminary land use plan dated June 13, 2006. FURTHER, since this approval is preliminary only, it does not constitute an official Comprehensive Plan Amendment and therefore is not contingent upon, or subject to, review and response by the Metropolitan Council at this time.
