RESOLUTION NO. 2006-235
RESOLUTION REJECTING BID
2006 SEALCOAT PROGRAM
CITY PROJECT NO. 6130E
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the 2006 Sealcoat Program and all
necessary appurtenances, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the
following bids were received complying with the advertisement:

Allied Blacktop, Inc.
281,428.40
ASTECH Corp.
314,365.00
WHEREAS, it appears that Pearson Bros., Inc. of Hanover, MN is the lowest responsible bidder,
complying with the minimum specifications; and
WHEREAS, fiinding for this project is significantly lower than the low bid; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works recommends rejecting all bids.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. All bids received are hereby rejected.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the
deposits made with their bids.
