HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2006-220CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION 2006-220 APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR JOHN AND JACQUELINE FENSKE TO EXPAND AN EXISTING GARAGE OVER 1,000 SQUARE FEET FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 605 SYCAMORE LANE NORTH (2006016) WHEREAS, John and Jacqueline Fenske have requested a conditional use permit to allow an attached garage containing 1,254 square feet in gross floor area on property legally described as follows: Outlot A, Gleanlock Second Addition. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request at a duly called Public Hearing. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the request by John and Jacqueline Fenske for a conditional use permit to expand an existing garage to 1,254 square feet on property located at 605 Sycamore Lane, subject to the following conditions: I. A conditional use permit is approved to allow an attached garage containing 1,254 square feet in gross floor area based on the findings that the standards in Section 21015 of the Zoning Ordinance have been met, as shown on the application and plans received by the City on March 14, 2006, April 12, 2006, and June 1, 2006 except as may be amended by this resolution. 2. The total impervious surface coverage for the portion of the lot within Cavanugh Lake Shoreland Management Overlay District shall not exceed 25 percent. 3. Prior to issuance of a building permit, the applicant shall submit a revised survey consistent with the conceptual elevations submitted June 1, 2006. Resolution 2006-220 (2006016) Page 2 4. Standard Conditions: a. Any subsequent phases or expansions are subject to required reviews and approvals per Ordinance provisions. b. Prior to constriction of the stricture, the applicant must obtain separate approval of a building permit. c. The permit is subject to all applicable codes, regulations and ordinances, and violation thereof shall be grounds for revocation. d. This approval shall expire one year after the date of approval, unless the property owner or applicant has substantially started constriction of the project, or unless the landowner or applicant has received prior approval from the City to extend the expiration date for up to one additional year, as regulated under Section 21015.07 of the Zoning Ordinance.
