RESOLUTION NO. 2006-132
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DONATION OF MONEY
FROM THE PLYMOUTH CRIME AND FIRE PREVENTION FUND
FOR THE PURCHASE OF A CANINE BALLISTIC VEST
WHEREAS, one of the Police Department's canine units is part of the City's SWAT
Team and responds to potentially dangerous situations; and
WHEREAS, they do make a ballistic vest specially designed to protect canines used in
these types of situations; and
WHEREAS, a Plymouth business owner has donated money to the Plymouth Crime and
Fire Prevention Fund to be used to purchase one of these vests for our canine, Saber,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, that the City Council accepts the donation of money from
the Plymouth Crime and Fire Prevention Fund for the purchase of a canine ballistic vest.
Adopted by the City Council on March 14, 2006.
