RESOLUTION NO. 2006-073
RECEIVING PRELIMINARY ENGINEERING REPORT AND ORDERING A
PUBLIC HEARING
2006 MILL AND OVERLAY PROJECT
CITY PROJECT NO. 6106
WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution of the City Council adopted January 10, 2006, a
report has been prepared with reference to the improvements of Pineview Lane between
Schmidt Lake Road and Northwest Boulevard, and portions of Schmidt Lake Road
between Fernbrook Lane and Pineview Lane; and
WHEREAS, the proposed improvement includes the removal and replacement of the top
layer of bituminous pavement, concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer strictures, and all
necessary appurtenances; and
WHEREAS, said report is being received by the Council on February 7, 2006; and
WHEREAS, the report provides information regarding whether the proposed project is
necessary, cost effective, and feasible;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
The Council will consider the improvement of such streets in
accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting and adjacent
properties along Pineview Lane within the designated 2006 Mill and
Overlay Project, City Project No. 6106 for all or a portion of the cost
of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 429.011 to
429.111 (Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as amended) at an estimated total
cost of the improvement of $445,000
2. Apublic hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the
14t, day of March 2006 in the Council Chambers of the Plymouth City
Center at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard at 7:00 p.m., and the Clerk shall
give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvements as
required by law.
