RESOLUTION NO. 2006-035
APPROVING MUNICIPAL RECYCLING
WASTE ABATEMENT INCENTIVE GRANT AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, Hennepin County has adopted the funding assistance policy for source
separated recyclables to distribute fiends to the cities for development and implementation
of waste reduction and recycling programs; and
WHEREAS, Hennepin County has set as a requirement that the City enter into a
"Municipal Waste Abatement Incentive Grant Agreement" with the County; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to receive these County fiends,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the City enter into the "Municipal Recycling
Waste Abatement Grant Agreement' with Hennepin County and authorize the Mayor and
City Manager to sign the agreement.
