RESOLUTION NO. 2006-026
ORDER PRELIMINARY ENGINEERING REPORT FOR
2006 MILL AND OVERLAY PROJECT
CITY PROJECT NO. 6106
WHEREAS, the Capital Improvements Program (CIP) made recommendations for the
2006 Mill and Overlay Project; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to undertake a Preliminary Engineering Report to determine
the work required on each street in the areas recommended to be considered for the 2006
Mill and Overlay Project; and
WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve Pineview Lane between Schmidt Lake Road and
Northwest Boulevard, Campus Drive between Xenium Lane and Northwest Boulevard,
the intersection of Schmidt Lake Road and Fernbrook and the intersection of Schmidt
Lake Road and Northwest Boulevard and to assess the benefited properties for a portion
of the cost of the improvement, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the proposed improvement be
referred to the City Engineer for study and that he is instructed to report to the Council
with all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the
proposed improvement is necessary, cost-effective, and feasible and as to whether it
should best be made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement, and the
estimated cost of the improvement as recommended.
