RESOLUTION NO. 2006-025
RECEIVING PRELIMINARY ENGINEERING REPORT
AND CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING
2006 STREET RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT
HEMLOCK LANE, SOUTH BASS LAKE AND LOST LAKE
CITY PROJECT NO. 6101
WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution of the City Council adopted December 13, 2006, a
report has been prepared with with reference to the improvement of Hemlock Lane, from
Red Fox Drive in Maple Grove to the recently constricted Hemlock Lane cul-de-sac
north of 60th Avenue, the area from the Canadian Pacific Railroad to, and including,
Balsam Lane from Zachary Lane to, and including, Larch Lane and 53rd Avenue and 541h
Avenue west of Larch Lane, includiuu the adjacent cul-de-sacs, and the area south of Old
Rockford Road to, and including, 40" Avenue and from Zachary Lane to, and including,
Revere Lane; and
WHEREAS, the proposed improvement includes the reconstruction of streets by the
installation of bituminous pavement, concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer, and all
necessary appurtenances; and
WHEREAS, said report is being received by the Council on January 10, 2006; and
WHEREAS, the report provides information regarding whether the proposed project is
necessary, costeffective, and feasible;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
The Council will consider the improvement of such streets in
accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting and adjacent
property within the designated 2006 Street Reconstruction Project,
City Project No. 5101 for all or a portion of the cost of the
improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 429.011 to 429.111
(Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as amended) at an estimated total cost of the
improvement of $4,495,000
2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the
14th day of March 2006 in the Council Chambers of the Plymouth City
Center at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard at 7:00 p.m., and the Clerk shall

give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvements as
required by law.
Adopted by the City Council on January 10, 2006.
