RESOLUTION No. 2013-154
RESOLUTION TO APPROVE A LEASE WITH
LANDIS+GYR TECHNOLOGY INC., TO CONTINUE
TO HAVE COMMUNICATION EQUIPMENT ON THE WATER TOWER
LOCATED AT 4355 ZACHARY LANE N.
WHEREAS, the City Council has previously adopted a policy statement regarding the
use of City owned land for wireless telecommunication antennas and towers; and
WHEREAS, the City received a request from Landis+Gyr Technology Inc. to renew a
lease to continue to have an antenna on the water tower with limited ground equipment
located at 4355 Zachary Lane N. (Zachary Lane Water Tower); and
WHEREAS, a new agreement has been reviewed and approved by the City Attorney
which would allow Landis+Gyr Technology Inc. to have an antenna on the tower and limited
ground equipment at the water tower site located at 4355 Zachary Lane N. (Zachary Lane
Water Tower).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the Mayor and City Manager are authorized to
enter into the agreement with Landis+Gyr Technology Inc. to continue to have an antenna
mounted on the water tower and limited ground equipment at the water tower site located at
4355 Zachary Lane N.
