RESOLUTION NO. 2007-504
REQUEST FOR PAYMENT NO. 22 AND FINAL
CENTRAL AND ZACHARY WATER TREATMENT PLANTS EXPANSION
AND UPGRADES
CITY PROJECT NO. 2032
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth as owner and Knutson Constriction Services, as
contractor, have entered into an agreement for Central and Zachary Water Treatment
Plants Expansion and Upgrades, City Project No. 2032, said agreement being dated
September 13, 2004; and
WHEREAS, the Engineer has certified his acceptance of the work and his approval of the
final request for payment;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. That the original contract amount was $19,429,909.61. Nine change
orders were approved in the amount of $315,736.05 and the value of the
work to date is $19,745,645.65 and is herewith approved. This project
does not exceed the revised contract amount.
2. That the work performed by the contractor for Central and Zachary Water
Treatment Plants Expansion and Upgrades and certified to the Council by
the Engineer as acceptable, being the same, is hereby released from the
contract except as to the conditions of the performance bond, any and all
legal rights of the owner, required guarantees and correction of faulty
work after final payment.
3. Request for Payment No. 22 and Final in the amount of $31,099.82 to
Knutson Constriction Services for Central and Zachary Water Treatment
Plants Expansion and Upgrades is hereby approved and the City
Administrative Services Director is hereby authorized and directed to pay
the same forthwith.
