RESOLUTION 2007-477
APPROVING FINDINGS OF FACT FOR REZONING OF CERTAIN PROPERTIES WITHIN
PLYMOUTH CITY CENTER (2007090)
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has eliminated the CC -R (City Center, Retail), CC -OT (City
Center, Office/Technical), and CC -RE (City Center, Retail/Entertainment) zoning districts and replaced
such districts with the CC -OT & R (City Center, Office/Technical and Retail) and CC -R & E (City
Center, Retail and Entertainment) zoning districts; and
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has initiated a zoning reclassification for those properties zoned
CC -R (City Center, Retail), CC -OT (City Center, Office/Technical), and CC -RE (City Center,
Retail/Entertainment) to fit into the new zoning classification system of CC -OT & R (City Center,
Office/Technical and Retail) and CC -R & E (City Center, Retail and Entertainment); and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request at a duly called Public Hearing
and recommends approval; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted an ordinance rezoning the affected parcels.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the request for the
above -stated reclassification, based upon the following findings:
1. The proposed zoning classifications are consistent with the Comprehensive Plan.
2. The proposed zoning classifications are consistent with the established and planned
development patterns and land uses.
Adequate infrastructure exists to support the requested rezoning.
