RESOLUTION NO. 2007-470
APPROVE AGREEMENT WITH MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT
OF TRANSPORTATION FOR THE SAFE ROUTES TO SCHOOL PLAN
CITY PROJECT NO. 7139
WHEREAS, an agreement with the City and the Commissioner of Transportation,
Minnesota Department of Transportation Agreement No. 91969, for the Safe Routes to
School Program for Independent School District 284 has been prepared and presented to
the City;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Plymouth enter into an
agreement with the Commissioner of Transportation prescribing the terms and conditions
of said federal aid participation as set forth and contained in Minnesota Department of
Transportation Agency Agreement No. 91969, and appoint the Commissioner of
Transportation agent for the City to supervise said project and administer available
Federal Funds in accordance with Minnesota Statute, Section 161.36.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor and City Manager be and they are hereby
authorized to execute Agreement No. 91969 and any amendments thereto for and on
behalf of the City.
