RESOLUTION NO. 2007-447
AUTHORIZING THE CITY TO ACCEPT GRANT FUNDS
FROM THE TARGET GREATLAND TO BE USED TO
PURCHASE EQUIPMENT BY THE POLICE DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, the Police Department has started a Special Investigation Unit (SIU); and
WHEREAS, in many instances, various equipment could be used to more effectively
conduct investigations by both the SIU and the Investigative Division; and
WHEREAS, Target Greatland has made available $4,000 in grant fiinds towards the cost
of purchasing this equipment,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, that the City Council accepts the grant fiends from Target
Greatland in the amount of $4,000 and designate it for use by the Police Department to
purchase equipment.
Adopted by the City Council on October 23, 2007.
