RESOLUTION 2007-438
APPROVING A VARIANCE FOR LENNAR TO INCREASE THE SIZE OF AN AREA
IDENTIFICATION SIGN FOR LEGACY PARK, FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT THE
SOUTHEAST CORNER OF COUNTY ROAD 47 AND VICKSBURG LANE (200709 1)
WHEREAS, an application has been filed by Lennar which requests approval of a variance to
increase the size of an area identification sign to 157 square feet, where 32 square feet is
specified, for property legally described as Outlot B, Taryn Hills 5"' Addition; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the request at a duly called public meeting.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the request of Lennar
for a variance to increase the size of an area identification sign to 157 square feet, where 32
square feet is specified, for property located at the southeast corner of County Road 47 and
Vicksburg Lane, based upon the following findings:
1. This variance request is hereby approved in accordance with the application and plans
received by the City on September 13, 2007, except as may be amended by this resolution.
2. This resolution is approved with the finding that all applicable variance standards have been
met.
3. Prior to installation of the sign, the applicant shall obtain the necessary sign permit.
4. This approval shall expire one year after the date of approval, unless the applicant has
substantially started constriction of the project, or unless the applicant has received prior
approval from the City to extend the expiration date for up to one additional year, as
regulated under Section 2 103 0. 06 of the Zoning Ordinance.
