HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2007-406CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION 2007-406 APPROVING AMENDMENT TO THE CONTRACT FOR DEED WITH FAMILY HOPE SERVICES INCORPORATED (2003002) WHEREAS, in 2003 the City of Plymouth sold two parcels located at 3950 and 3960 County Road 101 (now known as Lot 1, Block 1, Family Hope 2"a Addition) to Family Hope Services Incorporated for the purpose of development of a building with related parking lot and landscape improvements, containing offices and meeting rooms for the purpose of conducting its "TreeHouse" youth and family counseling services; and WHEREAS, the original contract for deed (Addendum, paragraph H, subparagraph 3) provided that the purchaser shall obtain all necessary approvals for the project, including a building permit, by October 12, 2006; and WHEREAS, on April 11, 2006, the City Council approved a second amendment to the contract for deed extending the term until October 12, 2007; and WHEREAS, Family Hope Services has recently requested a third amendment to the contract for deed to extend the term until October 12, 2008. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does authorize the Mayor and City Manager to sign the Third Amendment to the Contract for Deed to grant a one-year extension.
