HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2007-398CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 2007-398 AWARD CONTRACT WIKMAN EROSION PROJECT CITY PROJECT NO. 6113 WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the Wikman Erosion Project, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: Contractor Base Bid + Alternate Bid `A' Base Bid + Alternate Bid B' G.L. Contracting of Medina, MN is the lowest responsible bidder, complying with the minimum specifications; WHEREAS, the City Engineer recommends awarding the project, including Alternate Bid A, to G.L. Contracting of Medina, MN; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the appropriate City Officials are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the contract for the bid with G.L. Contracting of Medina, MN in the name of the City of Plymouth for the Wikman Erosion Project according to the plans and specifications therefore approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Engineer in the amount of $116,244.01. Resolution No. 2007-398 Award Contract -CP 6113 Page 2 FURTHERMORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, that the fiinding for this project shall be from the Water Resources Fund. Adopted by the City Council on September 25, 2007.
