RESOLUTION NO. 2007-387
APPROVING ACQUISITION OF PROPERTY
FOR THE NORTHWEST GREENWAY
WHEREAS, the Director of Parks and Recreation has negotiated the purchase of 70.8
acres of property in Northwest Plymouth for inclusion in the Northwest Greenway; and
WHEREAS, the City Attorney's office has drafted a purchase agreement in the amount
of $2,610,000 for acquisition of said property,
NOW, THEREFOR BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH that the purchase agreement for the acquisition of 70.8 acres of property
for inclusion in the Northwest Greenway is hereby approved and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Manager are authorized to sign
the purchase agreement, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the fiinding for this acquisition will be financed by
the fiiture sale of general obligation bonds.
