HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2007-385CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 2007-385 PROPOSED PROPERTY TAX LEVIES FOR TAX PAYABLE 2008 WHEREAS, the City Council has given preliminary approval to the proposed operating budgets for calendar year 2008. The proposed budgets require monies to be raised from property taxes on taxable property in the City of Plymouth. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the following sums of money be raised by property tax on taxable property in the City of Plymouth for taxes payable in 2008 as set out in the preliminary 2008 Budget. Special Levies Activity Center Bonds 2008 Property General Purpose Tax Levy General Fund $21,252,059 Market Value Cr. Aid -State Aid Cut 507,000 Street Reconstruction 2303,400 Recreation Fund 658,735 Capital Improvement Fund 347,783 Total General Purpose $ 25,068,977 Special Levies Activity Center Bonds $ 429,706 2003 Open Space Refunding 262,794 2003 Street Reconstruction Bonds 182,543 2004 Street Reconstruction Bonds 422,017 2004 Public Safety Bonds 594,674 HRA 524,477 Total Special Levies 2,416,211 Total Levies $ 27,485,188 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the said proposed property tax levy be certified to the County Auditor of Hennepin County on or before September 15, 2007.
