RESOLUTION NO. 2007-338
AWARDING CONTRACT 2007 MILL AND OVERLAY
VICKSBURG LANE CITY PROJECT NO. 7104
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the 2007 Mill and Overlay Improvement,
Vicksburg Lane from 32nd Avenue to Old Rockford Road, by bituminous resurfacing, replacement of,
concrete curb and gutter, Traffic Signal loop detectors and all necessary appurtenances, bids were
received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying with
the advertisement:

WHEREAS, it appears that ASTECH Corp. of St. Cloud, MN is the lowest responsible bidder, complying
with the minimum specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the contract with
ASTECH Corp. of St. Cloud, MN in the name of the City of Plymouth for the 2007 Mill and Overlay
Improvement, Vicksburg Lane, from 32nd Ave to Old Rockford Road, according to the plans and
specifications therefore approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Engineer by
awarding a contract in the amount of $349,936.65.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made
with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be
retained until a contract has been signed.
3. Funding for this project will be from:
Street Replacement Fund $273,700
Special Assessments $128,800
Adopted by the City Council on August 14, 2007.
