RESOLUTION 2007-297
APPROVING FINDINGS OF FACT FOR AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE
TEXT FOR THE VILLAGE AT BASSETT CREEK PUD, LOCATED NORTHWEST OF
HIGHWAY 55 AND REVERE LANE (2006111)
WHEREAS, Finn Daniels Architects has requested a Planned Unit Development (PUD)
Amendment for a 150,000 square foot commercial office building for property legally
described as follows:
Outlots A, B, and C, The Village at Bassett Creek, according to the recorded
plat thereof, Hennepin County, Minnesota.
WHEREAS, the Plymouth Zoning Ordinance requires a text amendment for a PUD
Amendment; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request at a duly called public
hearing and recommends approval; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted an ordinance amending the Zoning Ordinance
text for The Village at Bassett Creek PUD.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the request
by Finn Daniels Architects for a PUD amendment and related Zoning Ordinance text
amendment, based on the following findings:
1. The proposal would be consistent with the objectives of the Comprehensive Plan and
with the CO (Commercial Office) guiding of the site.

2. The proposed amendment would not affect the purpose or intent of the PUD, which was
established to provide for a commercial office building in the southern portion of the site
abutting State Highway 55.
ADOPTED by the City Council on June 26, 2007.
