RESOLUTION NO. 2007-295
AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF
AUTHORIZE THE VACATION OF OLD COUNTY ROAD 47
ALIGNMENT EMBRACED WITHIN OUTLOT M, TARYN HILLS
WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was scheduled for June 26, 2007 in
accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851 and the City Charter Section 12.06; and
WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two weeks prior to the
meeting of June 26, 2007; and
WHEREAS, all property owners adjacent to the proposed vacation were duly notified by mail; and
WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on June 26, 2007 to inform any and all interested
parties relevant to the vacation of that part of Old County Road 47 that lies in Taryn Hills Addition;
and
WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that said right-of-way was not needed for public
purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the following County Road 47 right-of-way be vacated:
That part of County Road No. 47 per Document No.'s 543453, 543454 and 550306
encompassed within TARYN HILLS, according to the recorded plat thereof, Hennepin
County, Minnesota, described as follows:
The centerline of said 66 foot wide roadway easement is described as commencing at
the northwest corner of said TARYN HILLS, also being the northwest corner of Section
4, Township 118, Range 22, Hennepin County, Minnesota; thence on an assumed
bearing of South 00 degrees 02 minutes 02 seconds West, along the west line of said
TARYN HILLS, a distance of 540.90 feet to the point of beginning of the centerline to
be described; thence deflect to the left at an angle of 72 degrees 46 minutes a distance

of 368.40 feet; thence deflect to the left at an angle of 02 degrees 18 minutes a distance
of 1482.50 feet; thence deflect to the right on a 4 degree curve (delta angle 8 degrees 56
minutes, tangent distance 111.9 feet) a distance of 223.3 feet; thence tangent to said
curve a distance of 251.7 feet; thence deflect to the left on a 2 degree curve (delta angle
6 degrees 50 minutes, tangent distance 171.0 feet) a distance of 341.7 feet; thence on
tangent to said curve a distance of 150 feet and there terminating
Together with a strip 7 feet in width adjoining and northerly of the above described
strip, beginning opposite a point on the above described line 16 feet southeasterly of the
actual point of beginning and extending southeasterly 25 feet (both distances being
measured along said line)
Together with a strip 37 feet in width adjoining and northerly of the above described
strip, beginning opposite a point on the above described line 777.60 feet southeasterly
of the actual point of beginning and extending southeasterly 25 feet (both distances
being measured along said line).
Also a strip 27 feet in width adjoining and southwesterly of the first above described
strip, beginning opposite a point on the above described line 777.60 feet southeasterly
of the actual point of beginning and extending southeasterly 25 feet (both distances
being measured along said line).
Together with two strips 40 feet in width adjoining and one being northeasterly and the
other being southwesterly of the above described strip, beginning opposite a point on
the above described line 2074.6 feet southeasterly of the actual point of beginning and
extending southeasterly 40 feet (both distances being measured along said line).
Except that part which lies within Hennepin County Highway No. 47 and Quantico
Lane N. as dedicated on said plat of TARYN HILLS, according to the recorded plat
thereof, Hennepin County, Minnesota.
