AMENDING THE PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING
SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH SRF CONSULTING GROUP
FOR FERNBROOK LANES IMPROVEMENTS
FROM 27TH AVENUE TO 34TH AVENUE
CITY PROJECT NO. 1013
WHEREAS, the City has an agreement for engineering services with SRF Consulting Group for design
and constriction services for the Fernbrook Lane, 27t1' Avenue to 30h Avenue Improvements Project;
and
WHEREAS, Approval was given for an increase in the not -to -exceed agreement amount from
$491,902 to $527,443 due to an increase in the number of parcels needing to be acquired for right-of-
way; and
WHEREAS, SRF Consulting Group has requested another increase in the not -to -exceed amount from
$527,443 to $631,527 due to additional plan revisions requested by Mn/DOT, BCWMC Permit
application fee, coordination for retaining wall concept, right-of-way and easement coordination,
utility coordination and surveying and additional in -constriction services; and
WHEREAS, the contract is based on actual time worked and reimbursable expenses;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the Professional Engineering Services agreement between the
City and SRF Consulting Group, for the Fernbrook Lane, 27t1' Avenue to 30h Avenue Improvements,
City Project No. 1013 dated March 14, 2006 be amended by increasing the amount of the not -to -
exceed agreement from $527,443 to $631,527.
