HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2007-276CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION 2007-276 APPROVING FINDINGS OF FACT FOR AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE TEXT FOR THE PARKERS LAKE PUD (2007037) WHEREAS, Pope Associates, Inc. on behalf of Productivity, Inc. has requested a PUD (Planned Unit Development) amendment for property legally described as: Lot 1, Block 1, Parkers Lake Corporate Center 2"a Addition, Hennepin County, Minnesota; Mc Lot 1, Block 1, Parkers Lake Corporate Center 6"' Addition, Hennepin County, Minnesota. WHEREAS, the Plymouth Zoning Ordinance requires a text amendment for a PUD Amendment; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request at a duly called public hearing and recommends approval; and WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted an ordinance amending the Zoning Ordinance text for the affected property. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the request by Pope Associates, Inc. for a PUD amendment and related Zoning Ordinance text amendment, based on the following findings: 1. The amendment is consistent with the Comprehensive Plan and other City policies and plans. 2. The amendment is consistent with the spirit and intent of Parkers Lake PUD. 3. Adequate infrastructure is available to support the proposed development. ADOPTED by the City Council this 26"' day of June, 2007.
