RESOLUTION NO. 2007-269
AWARD CONTRACT FOR FIRE STATION NO. 3
ROOF REPLACEMENT
WHEREAS, the roof at Fire Station No. 3 is in need of replacement; and
WHEREAS, bids were solicited and received on May 31, 2007 for the replacement of the
roof included in the City budget; and
WHEREAS, it appears that Walker Roofing was the lowest responsible bidder, complying
with the minimum specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. That Walker Roofing is awarded the bid for the replacement of the roof at Fire
Station No. 3 in the amount of the bid for $106,900.
2. The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the
contract for the bid with Walker Roofing of St. Paul, MN, in the name of the City of
Plymouth for the replacement of the roof for Fire Station No. 3.
3. Funding for this project in the amount of $106,900 shall be from the Facilities
Management Fund (Fund 607).
