HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2007-268CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION 2007-268 RESOLUTION TO CONTRACT WITH A PUBLIC OFFICER WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth desires to enter into a software and equipment license and services agreement, which includes the purchase of hardware, for Public Records Management Software from Law Enforcement Technology Group, LLC ("LETG') for a contract price of $130,690 allocated as follows; Hardware $45,540, Labor $38,150, and Annual Maintenance Contract $47,000; and WHEREAS, Police Chief Mike Goldstein will have a financial interest in the contract; and WHEREAS, it is determined that the contract price of $130,690 is as low as, or lower than, the price at which the contract could be obtained elsewhere at this time; and WHEREAS, the contract is not one that is required to be competitively bid. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, that the City Manager is directed and authorized to enter into the contract on behalf of the City with LETG for $130,690. It is also resolved that the City shall pay the claim on the filing of an Affidavit of Official Interest by the interested official as required under Minnesota Statutes §471.89. This Resolution is passed to comply with the provisions of Minn. Stat. §§471.87 - go ADOPTED this 12th day of June, 2007, by the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota.
