RESOLUTION NO. 2007-258
APPROVAL OF INSTITUTION COMMUNITY
WORK CREW PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the City's Parks Department has a backlog of projects that would be delayed
or have difficulty in undertaking; and
WHEREAS, it would be economically advantageous to utilize the Sentence to Serve
Work Crew Program to complete these backlog tasks; and
WHEREAS, this program has been well received by other communities and is available
through Hennepin County; and
WHEREAS, as adequate fiinds are available within the 2007 and proposed 2008 and
2009 Park Maintenance Budgets,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the contract with the Sentence to
Serve Work Crew be awarded for services rendered in the amount of $8,000, $16,000,
and $8,000 for the years 2007-2009 and that the Mayor and City Manager are authorized
to sign it.
