RESOLUTION NO. 2007-236
THE PLYMOUTH GOOSE MANAGEMENT PROGRAM POLICY
WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted a new set of guidelines for the Plymouth Goose
Management Program; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the new guidelines better serve the residents;
and
WHEREAS, the City's involvement will be limited to goose removal from City owned sites and
Best Management Practices education for both City and privately owned property: and
WHEREAS, private property owners may schedule and pay user fees for goose removal directly
from the University of Minnesota, the only source provider; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, That the attached Plymouth Goose Management
Program Policy is adopted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Mayor and City Manager are authorized to renew this
agreement in successive years so long as the approved budget includes fiinds to pay for any
agreement expenses.
