HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2007-233CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION 2007-233 APPROVING FINDINGS OF FACT FOR A ZONING ORDINANCE TEXT AMENDMENT TO ALLOW "DOG DAY/OVERNIGHT BOARDING" IN THE I-2 (GENERAL INDUSTRIAL) ZONING DISTRICT BY CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT (2007033) WHEREAS, Camp Bow Wow has requested an amendment to allow "dog day/overnight boarding" in the I-2 (General Industrial) zoning district by conditional use permit; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the proposed text amendment at a duly called public hearing and recommends approval; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve a Zoning Ordinance text amendment, based upon the following findings: 1. The proposed amendment would be consistent with the City's Comprehensive Plan, and with the City's ordinances and policies. 2. The proposed amendment would allow "dog day/overnight boarding" in the I-2 (General Industrial) zoning district by conditional use permit, provided that the use complies with the specific conditions listed in Section 211565.07, Subd. 2. of the Zoning Ordinance.
