RESOLUTION NO. 2007-228
APPROVAL OF INSTITUION COMMUNITY
WORK CREW PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the City's Park Department has a backlog of projects that would be delayed
or have difficulty in undertaking; and
WHEREAS, it would be economically advantageous to utilize the Institution Community
Work Crew Program to complete these backlog tasks; and
WHEREAS, this program has been well received by other communities and is available
through the State of Minnesota; and
WHEREAS, as adequate fiinds are available within the 2007 and proposed 2008 and
2009 Park Maintenance budgets; and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the contract with the Institution Community
Work Crew be awarded for services rendered in the amount of $38,437.50 and
$39,398.50 for the years 2007-2009 and that the Mayor and City Manager by authorized
to sign it.
Adopted by the City Council on May 22, 2007.
