HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2007-200CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION 2007-200 APPROVING FINDINGS OF FACT FOR REZONING OF PROPERTY PRESENTLY ADDRESSED AS 3120 DUNKIRK LANE NORTH (2007002) WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has initiated reclassification of the zoning from FRD (Future Restricted Development) to RSF-1 (Single Family Detached 1) for roughly five acres of land legally described as follows: The South 436 feet of the West 500 feet of the Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 20, Township 118, Range 22, Hennepin County, Minnesota. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request at a duly called Public Hearing; and WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted an ordinance rezoning the affected property from FRD (Future Restricted Development) to RSF-1 (Single Family Detached 1). NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve reclassification of the zoning from FRD (Future Restricted Development) to RSF-1 (Single Family Detached 1) for the roughly 5 -acre site presently addressed as 3120 Dunkirk Lane North, based on the following findings: 1. The RSF-1 zoning classification would be compatible with the LA -1 guiding of the site, pursuant to the City's Comprehensive Plan. 2. RSF-1 zoning for this site would be consistent with the zoning of the properties to the west and south. Resolution 2007-200 (2007002) Page 2 3. Adequate infrastructure would be available to support RSF-I zoning and the development proposed for this site. ADOPTED by the City Council on April 24, 2007.
