RESOLUTION AWARDING BID
2007 STREET SWEEPING PROGRAM
CITY PROJECT NO. 7113E
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the 2007 Street Sweeping Program, City
Project No. 7113E, and all necessary appurtenances, bids were received, opened and tabulated
according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement:
Contractor
Total Base Bid
Reliakor Services, Inc.
$118,408.83
Carefree Services, Inc.
$132,638.81
WHEREAS, staff has carefiilly reviewed both bids and evaluated that the bid received from
Carefree Services, Inc. is the bid that complies with the minimum specifications; and
WHEREAS, the total project cost, including engineering, administration, and based on the bid
is estimated to be $132,638.81:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter
into the contract with Carefree Services, Inc. for the 2007 Street Sweeping
Program according to the plans and specifications therefore approved by the
City Council and on file in the office of the City Engineer in the amount of
$132,638.81.
2. Funding will be from the Water Resources Fund in the amount of
$132,638.81.
