HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2007-102CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION 2007-102 AUTHORIZING A REALLOCATION OF CDBG FUNDS FROM THE 2004, 2005, AND 2006 GMDCA ACCOUNT INTO THE 2007 AFFORDABLE HOUSING DEVELOPMENT ACCOUNT FOR HAMMER RESIDENCE REHABILITATION PROJECT WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth received Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding that was allocated to the 2004, 2005 and 2006 Greater Minneapolis Day Care Association (GMDCA) account; and WHEREAS, on February 15, 2007, the Plymouth Housing and Redevelopment Authority held a duly constituted public hearing to allow interested parties to express their opinion on the reallocation of fiends; and WHEREAS, there were no comments or testimony received from the public regarding the reallocation of fiends; and WHEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of the City of Plymouth has determined the following to be an appropriate use of Community Development Block Grant fiends in accordance with federal guidelines and the City's HUD approved Consolidated Plan; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it hereby authorizes the reallocation of CDBG funds from the 2004, 2005 and 2006 GMDCA account into the 2007 Affordable Housing Development account for Hammer Residence Rehabilitation Project, as follows: RemaininLy Allocation Proposed Allocation 2004 GMDCA Account $2,075.30 $0.00 2005 GMDCA Account $9,000.00 $0.00 2006 GMDCA Account $5,450.00 $0.00 2007 Affordable Housing Development Account $0.00 $16,525.30 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that CDBG program income may be used to cover expenses generated in any existing CDBG program or activity and not just expenses related to the activity generating the income.
