RESOLUTION NO. 2007-010
RECEIVING PRELIMINARY ENGINEERING REPORT AND CALLING FOR A
PUBLIC HEARING
2007 STREET RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT
CITY VIEW ACRES
CITY PROJECT NO. 7107
WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution of the City Council adopted November 28, 2006, a
report has been prepared with with reference to the improvement of the area located south
of County Road 6 to, and including 91h Avenue, from County Road 101 to, and including
Dunkirk Lane and 14t1' Avenue, east of Dunkirk Lane; and
WHEREAS, the proposed improvement includes the reconstruction of streets by the
installation of bituminous pavement, concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer, and all
necessary appurtenances; and
WHEREAS, said report is being received by the Council on January 9, 2007; and
WHEREAS, the report provides information regarding whether the proposed project is
necessary, costeffective, and feasible;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
The Council will consider the improvement of such streets in
accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting and adjacent
property within the designated 2007 Street Reconstruction Project,
City Project No. 7107 for all or a portion of the cost of the
improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 429.011 to 429.111
(Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as amended) at an estimated total cost of the
improvement of $4,390,000
2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the
13February th day of Febary 2007 in the Council Chambers of the Plymouth
City Center at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard at 7:00 p.m., and the Clerk
shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and
improvements as required by law.
