RESOLUTION NO. 2008-323
APPROVING RESPONSES TO COMMENTS ON THE
DRAFT SURFACE WATER MANAGEMENT PLAN FROM THE
BASSETT, ELM, MINNEHAHA, AND SHINGLE CREEK
WATERSHED MANAGEMENT ORGANIZATIONS
WHEREAS, Minnesota Rule 8410.0170 and Minnesota Statute 10313.235 require the City
of Plymouth to submit the Surface Water Management Plan to the Metropolitan
Council, Hennepin County, and the Bassett, Elm, Minnehaha, and Shingle Creek
Watershed Management Organizations for review for consistency with their plans; and
WHEREAS, the Surface Water Management Plan was submitted to the aforementioned
agencies for review on July 25, 2008; and
WHEREAS, the comment period for agency review ended on September 29, 2008; and
WHEREAS, comments were received from the Bassett, Elm, Minnehaha, and Shingle Creek
Watershed Management Organizations; and
WHEREAS, staff has drafted responses to

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the responses to comments submitted by the
watershed management organizations on the Surface Water Management Plan are approved.
Adopted by the City Council on October 28, 2008.
