RESOLUTION 2008-319
APPROVING FINDINGS OF FACT FOR THE REZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT
THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF OLD ROCKFORD ROAD AND 45TH AVENUE (2008077)
WHEREAS, Schuett Real Estate Group has requested reclassification of the zoning from B -C
(Business Campus) to O (Office) for the roughly 2.3 -acre site located at the southeast corner of
Old Rockford Road and 45"' Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request at a duly called public hearing
and recommends approval; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted an ordinance rezoning the affected parcel from B -C
(Business Campus) to O (Office).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the request for
reclassification of the zoning from B -C (Business Campus) to O (Office) for the roughly 2.3 -acre
site located at the southeast corner of Old Rockford Road and 45"' Avenue, in accordance with
the application received by the City on August 21, 2008, and based on the following findings:
1. The proposed O (Office) zoning and residential care facility would be consistent with the
CO guiding for this site, pursuant to the City's Comprehensive Plan.
2. The proposal would comply with all city standards.
3. Adequate infrastructure is in place to support O (Office) zoning and the use proposed for
this site.
