RESOLUTION 2008-311
ACCEPTING A QUIT CLAIM DEED FROM FAMILY HOPE SERVICES
TO CANCEL THE CONTRACT FOR DEED FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT
THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF COUNTY ROAD 101 AND 40TH AVENUE (2003002)
WHEREAS, in 2003 the City of Plymouth entered into an agreement to sell, by contract for deed,
property located at 3950 and 3960 County Road 101 (now known as Lot 1, Block 1, Family
Hope 2"a Addition) to Family Hope Services, for the purpose of development of a building
containing their administrative offices and TreeHouse youth counseling program; and
WHEREAS, Family Hope Services recently informed the City that they do not have funding to
purchase the site and requested that the contract for deed be cancelled; and
WHEREAS, the City has subsequently prepared and served a notice of cancellation of contract
for deed to Family Hope Services, as required by the contract for deed agreement; and
WHEREAS, Family Hope Services has executed and provided to the City a quit claim deed to
cancel the contract for deed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does accept the Quit Claim Deed
from Family Hope Services to cancel the contract for deed for the property located at the
southeast corner of County Road 101 and 40"' Avenue.
