RESOLUTION NO. 2008-306
AWARD CONTRACT
WELL NO. 16 RAW WATERMAIN
CITY PROJECT NO. 7114
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for Well No. 16 Raw Watermain, bids
were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were
received complying with the advertisement:

GM Contracting, Inc.
$354,519.21
Northdale Constriction, Inc.
$463,229.09
SR Weidema, Inc.
$468,364.00
WHEREAS, it appears GM Contracting, Inc. of Lake Crystal, Minnesota is the lowest
responsible bidder, complying with the minimum specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the appropriate City Officials are
hereby authorized and directed to enter into the contract for the bid with GM Contracting,
Inc. of Lake Crystal, Minnesota in the name of the City of Plymouth for Well No. 16
Raw watermain according to the plans and specifications therefore approved by the City
Council and on file in the office of the City Engineer in the amount of $354,519.21.
FURTHERMORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, that the fiinding for this project shall
be from the Water Fund in the amount of $440,000.00.
