RESOLUTION 2008-295
APPROVING TRANSMITTAL OF THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN UPDATE FOR THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH TO THE METROPOLITAN COUNCIL (2005050)
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth approved the Comprehensive Plan Update on December 11,
2007, contingent upon the required six-month review by adjacent and affected jurisdictions and
the required review and response by the Metropolitan Council; and
WHEREAS, the City transmitted the plan update to adjacent and affected jurisdictions on
December 21, 2007 and March 14, 2008 and informally to the Metropolitan Council on March
12, 2008; and
WHEREAS, the six-month review period for adjacent and affected jurisdictions concluded on
September 14, 2008; and
WHEREAS, the City has considered the comments of its adjacent and affected jurisdictions and
the informal comments of the Metropolitan Council; and
WHEREAS, the City has made a number of changes to the Comprehensive Plan Update, based
on the afore -mentioned comments;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve transmittal of the
Comprehensive Plan Update as revised to the Metropolitan Council for its required review and
response.
