RESOLUTION 2008-282
APPROVING TERMINATION OF THE MAPLE GROVE/PLYMOUTH
HAZARDOUS MATERIALS RESPONSE TEAM JOINT POWERS
AGREEMENT FOR USE OF PERSONNEL AND EQUIPMENT
WHEREAS, the Cities of Plymouth and Maple Grove entered into a Hazardous Materials
Response Team Joint Powers Agreement for Use of Personnel and Equipment (the "Agreement');
and
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth Desires to terminate the Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. Pursuant to Paragraph VI of the Agreement Plymouth terminates its participation in the
Agreement effective ninety (90) days after written notice by certified mail, return receipt
requested is given to the City of Maple Grove.
2. The Plymouth Fire Chief is directed to send the notice of termination in the form required
by the Agreement.
