RESOLUTION NO. 2008-274
A RESOLUTION TO ADOPT PRELIMINARY 2009
BUDGETS
WHEREAS, In December of 2007, the Plymouth City Council
approved its first biennial budget covering the budget years of 2008 and
2009; and
WHEREAS, the 2009 budget proposal was approved "in concept"
requiring further review, amendment and approval; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has amended the approved in
concept 2009 budget based upon the requirements of State Law and the
City Charter; and
WHEREAS, the proposed 2009 operating budget resolution and the
accompanying proposed 2009 tax levies contained in Resolution No. 2008
- are hereby submitted by the City in accordance with Minnesota
Statutes and applicable laws in effect on this date; and
WHEREAS, the City Council concurs on the 2009 Plymouth
Housing and Redevelopment Authority Budgets in the amount of
$4,514,358.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the
preliminary 2009 proposed operating budgets for the following funds are
hereby given preliminary approval.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Plymouth Mayor and City
Council declares its intent to take all necessary actions legally permissible
to the submission and approval of the City's budget and property tax
levies both proposed and final.
