RESOLUTION NO. 2008-272
A RESOLUTION TO SET TRUTH -IN -TAXATION HEARING
DATES FOR THE 2009 BUDGET AND PROPERTY TAX
LEVY
WHEREAS, the City is required to set public hearing dates for the
Truth -in -Taxation hearing on the 2009 proposed budget and property tax
levy; and
WHEREAS, public hearing dates cannot conflict with dates for
school districts within the City of Plymouth or Hennepin County; and
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth must set dates for the initial Truth -
in -Taxation hearing and a continuation hearing date, should one be
necessary.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the
Truth -in -Taxation Public Hearing be set for 7:00 p.m. on December 1,
2008 and 7:00 p.m., December 8 shall be used as a hearing continuation
date, if needed.
