RESOLUTION NO. 2008-270
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY TO ACCEPT A
GRANT FROM TASER INTERNATIONAL FOR ONE TASER
WHEREAS, the Police Department had an opportunity to apply for a grant from Taser
International for a taser; and
WHEREAS, staff determined the SWAT team could use a taser assigned to their unit; and
WHEREAS, we were notified the grant application was accepted and we were offered a
grant for one Taser, the value of which is $1,155.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, the City Council adopt the resolution accepting the grant from
Taser International for one X26 Taser valued at $1,155 and designate it for use by the Police
Department.
Adopted by the City Council on September 9, 2008.
