RESOLUTION 2008-257
APPROVING FINDINGS OF FACT FOR AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE TEXT
FOR "THE RESERVE 3PJ' ADDITION" IN THE RESERVE PUD, LOCATED WEST OF I-
494 AND NORTH OF THE CANADIAN PACIFIC RAILROAD (2008003)
WHEREAS, The Rottlund Company Inc. has requested a planned unit development amendment
for property legally described as:
Oultlot A, The Reserve, according to the recorded plat thereof, Hennepin County,
Minnesota.
WHEREAS, the Plymouth Zoning Ordinance requires a text amendment for a planned unit
development amendment; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request at a duly called public hearing
and recommends approval; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted an ordinance amending the Zoning Ordinance text for
the affected parcels.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does support and approve the request
by The Rottlund Company Inc. for a planned unit development amendment and related Zoning
Ordinance text amendment, based on the following findings:
1. The amendment is consistent with the Comprehensive Plan and other City policies and plans.
2. The amendment would not affect the purpose or intent of The Reserve planned unit
development.
