RESOLUTION NO. 2008-254
AWARD CONTRACT
TRUNK HIGHWAY 55 CULVERT REPLACEMENT PROJECT
S.P. 2723-116, S.A.P. 155-010-004
CITY PROJECT NO. 7138
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the replacement of an existing
culvert in Think Highway 55 between West Medicine Lake Drive and South Shore Drive
and all necessary appurtenances, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to
law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement:

WHEREAS, it appears that Park Constriction Company of Hampton, MN is the lowest
responsible bidder complying with the minimum specifications; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the
contract for the Total Bid with Park Constriction Company of Hampton, MN in
the name of the City of Plymouth for replacement of the culvert under Trunk
Highway 55 between West Medicine Lake Drive and South Shore Drive,
according to the plans and specifications therefore approved by the City Council
and on file in the office of the City Engineer in the amount of $344,252.35.
2. City staff are hereby authorized and directed to negotiate a change order with
Park Constriction Company resulting in a reduction to said contract and to secure
approval from the Minnesota Department of Transportation for said change order
prior to commencement of constriction.
The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders
the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successfi l bidder
and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed.

4. Funding for constriction of this project shall be as follows:
State Funds
Water Resources Fund
Adopted by the City Council on August 26, 2008.
