RESOLUTION 2008-250
APPROVING FINDINGS OF FACT FOR A ZONING ORDINANCE TEXT
AMENDMENT TO ALLOW "DELICATESSENS/COFFEE HOUSES WITHOUT
DRIVE-THROUGH SERVICE" AS A PERMITTED USE IN THE C-1
(CONVENIENCE COMMERCIAL) ZONING DISTRICT (2008059)
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has requested an amendment to allow
delicatessens/coffee houses as a permitted use in the C-1 (Convenience Commercial)
zoning district; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the proposed text amendment at a
duly called public hearing and recommends approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the
Zoning Ordinance text amendment, based upon the following findings:
1. The proposed amendment would be consistent with the City's Comprehensive Plan
and with the purpose of the C-1 district.
2. The use would be compatible with the other permitted uses in the C-1 district.
