RESOLUTION NO. 2008-239
DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION AND
ORDERING PREPARATION OF PRELIMINARY ENGINEERING REPORT
FOR STREET LIGHTING
SUGAR HILLS 3RD ADDITION
WHEREAS, a petition has been received from the Sugar Hills Townhome Association
requesting installation of ornamental residential street lighting in the Sugar Hills ,rd
Addition development.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. A certain petition requesting the improvement of Sugar Hills -1 Addition by the
installation of residential ornamental street lighting, filed with the City Council on
August 12, 2008, is hereby declared to be signed by the required percentage of
owners of property affected thereby. This declaration is made in conformance with
Minnesota Statutes Section 429.035.
2. The petition is signed by the President of the Sugar Hills _3 Townhome Association
on behalf of 100% of the affected property owners and they have waived their rights
to public improvement and special assessment hearings.
3. The petition is hereby referred to the City Engineer and he is instructed to report to
the City Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way
as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best
be made as proposed or in conjunction with some other improvement and the
estimated cost of the improvement as recommended.
