RESOLUTION 2008-236
APPROVING A SITE PLAN AMENDMENT TO ALLOW A 480 -SQUARE FOOT
BUILDING EXPANSION FOR FUIDYNE AEROTEST LABORATORY LOCATED AT
13825 SCHMIDT LAKE ROAD (2008055)
WHEREAS, Aero Systems Engineering, Inc. has requested approval of a site plan amendment for
a 480 -square foot mechanical room addition for property located at 13825 Schmidt Lake Road,
for property legally described as:
Outlot A, SAVANNAH, Hennepin County, Minnesota
And,
The west 430.00 feet of the north 1089.00 feet of the Northeast Quarter of the Southwest
Quarter of Section 10, Township 118, Range 22, Hennepin County, Minnesota.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the request at a duly called public meeting
and recommends approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the request by Aero
Systems Engineering, Inc. for a site plan amendment, subject to the following conditions:
1. A site plan amendment is approved to allow constriction of an 480 -square foot mechanical
room addition, in accordance with the application materials received by the City on July I and
28, 2008, except as amended by this resolution.
2. Separate building and tank permits are required prior to commencement of the proiect.
3. Prior to issuance of any building permits, the applicant shall revise the plans consistent
with the Zoning Ordinance, City Code and Engineering Guidelines and as follows:
a. All plan sheets must be signed by the appropriate professional licensed by the State of
Minnesota.
b. Install silt fence on the site.
c. Add standard detail W-2.
d. All disturbed areas on the property shall be restored with sod.
e. Identify the 10 shrubs on the landscaping plan.
4. The applicant shall comply with the noise requirements of Section 2025 of the City Code.
5. The applicant shall comply with the mechanical equipment screening requirements of Section
21130.05.

6. Standard Conditions:
a. Any subsequent phases or expansions are subject to required reviews and approvals per
Ordinance provisions.
b. The approval is subject to all applicable codes, regulations and ordinances, and violation
thereof shall be grounds for revocation.
c. This approval shall expire one year after the date of approval, unless the property owner
or applicant has substantially started constriction of the project, or unless the landowner
or applicant has received prior approval from the City to extend the expiration date for up
to one additional year, as regulated under Sections 21045.09 of the Zoning Ordinance.
