HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2008-208CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 2008-208 MODIFICATION OF STORM WATER POLLUTION PREVENTION PROGRAM TO INCLUDE BEST MANAGEMENT PRACTICES FOR THE SHINGLE CREEK CHLORIDE TOTAL MAXIMUM DAILY LOAD PLAN WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has an approved Storm Water Pollution Prevention Program (SWPPP) per the requirements of the Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System General Permit as administered by the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency; and WHEREAS, as part of the permit requirements the City of Plymouth is required to review the adequacy of our SWPPP to meet waste load allocations as described in any United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) approved total maximum daily load (TMDL) plan; and WHEREAS, on February 14, 2007, the USEPA approved the Shingle Creek Chloride TMDL; and WHEREAS, staff has reviewed the adequacy and modified our SWPPP, as appropriate, to include best management practices to meet the waste load allocation for chloride as described in the Shingle Creek Chloride TMDL plan. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the City Council approves the modification of the Storm Water Pollution Prevention Program to include best management practices for the Shingle Creek Chloride Total Maximum Daily Load Plan. Adopted by the City Council on June 24, 2008.
